NESMA Telecom & Technology was awarded a SAR 38.6 million contract by Dawiyat, a subsidiary of the Saudi Electricity Company.
NESMA Telecom & Technology’s scope of work includes the survey, design and implementation of the entire fiber optic network infrastructure to meet GPON/NGPON2 standards and provide at least 100Mb/s to 12,663 households in As-Salam district, Riyadh.
The project, undertaken in a record of 3-month period, included 1600km of ducting and 680km of fiber optic cable to serve the entire district and its 4460 buildings.
