Saudi Contractor Submits the lowest bid for Qassim Substation expansion

On 26 November 2018, Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) announces the bid results for “EXPANSION OF QASSIM-2 (9025) 380/132kV BSP”
A total of Seven (7) EPC companies has submitted their proposals. Out of, (Please Subscribe to view company name) has quoted lowest price of Saudi Riyals 84.7 million.
The Scope of Work includes expansion of existing 380kV GIS with TWO Diameters, GIS/GIB modifications as a result of swapping of OHTLs, Construction of new gantries for spare OHTL and installation of TWO Line Reactors for new 380kV OHTL between MDE and 9025. The project also cover necessary modifications in GIS/ GIBs for installation of above mentioned line reactors, protection, communication, metering and SCADA/ SAS works

The project is located in Qassim area, Central region of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This project has been created to construct the second interconnection between Qassim and Madinah.
