Bahrain announces the bid results for diversion of 220kV and 66kV Underground cable projects. Two (2) bidders has been shortlisted for commercial opening of the bid.
Saudi based companies Al-Gihaz Holding Compnay and Bin Omeirah Company proposals had opened.
Bid Results:
Al- Gihaz Holding Company: BHD 3,315,389
Bin Omeirah Company: BHD 4,250,000
Project Description:
As part of Roads Strategic projects, Ministry of Works Municipalities Affairs and Urban, Planning (MOWMAUP) is implementing the improvement of Al Fateh highway with new interchanges having underpasses and flyovers. New development is affecting many existing ,ETD & EDD cables and all affected cables are required to be diverted in to newly allocated corridors, Considering the location of existing EWA services, future diversion corridors and the planned construction sequence of Al Fateh highway.
