Saudi Arabia Signed SR4.3 billion worth of road maintenance contracts

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Transport signed various contracts for operation, maintenance and cleaning contracts for roads.

The locations of the project will be throughout the Kingdom. The period of the executed contracts is for 2019-2022.

A total of 110 contracts has been signed by ministry with various Saudi companies. The value of the contracts is SR4.3 billion ($1.15 billion).

The signing ceremony was supervised by Transport Minister Nabeel Al-Amoudi. “The contracts cater to the needs of each region. They were awarded to various Saudi companies, and are intended to promote road safety and maintenance,” Saudi Transport Minister Nabeel Alamudi said during the signing ceremony.
