Kuwait signed a deal of $358 million for Al Mutlaa residential city project

Kuwait’s Ministry of Public Works, has awarded the projects for the development of the Al Mutlaa Residential City.

The signed project values is KWD109 million ($358 million).

Project scope of work includes construction, operation and maintenance of the roads and intersections in the residential project.

Electrical networks, traffic signs, pedestrian bridges, and other utilities will be also be constructed as part of the project

Al Mutlaa Residential City is considered one of the vital projects that will link Al Mutlaa city with the highway network (Al Abdaly Highway/Subiya Expressway), as it will accommodate 70% of the traffic volume flowed from the city, public works minister Jenan Ramadan stated.

The minister pointed out that the contract reflects a new strategic dimension in line with the Kuwait’s overall development plan.

 It will also boost the infrastructure of Al Mutlaa city as well as the roads network in North Kuwait according to the state’s organisational chart.
