The Red Sea Development Company awards contract for 77km road works

Saudi Arabia’s The Red Sea Development Company (TRSDC), has awarded the contract for construction of the coastal and inland connecting road links.

The project has been awarded to Saudi based construction company, Binyah.

The contractor scope of work includes design and build 77km of roads, including a 10km highway, a 13km airport access road, interconnecting roads within the destination and an access road to the bridge connecting the main hub island. (Read More)

Saudi Arabia signed the contract for Taif Independent sewage treatment plant

Saudi Water Partnership Company (SWPC), formerly known as Water & Electricity Company (WEC) signed a contract to build the Taif Independent Sewage Treatment Plant (ISTP).

SWPC signed the contract with a consortium comprising of Cobra Instalaciones y Servicios, S.A. (Cobra) and International Water Distribution Co. Ltd. (Tawzea), jointly owned by Saudi Industrial Services Co (SISCO) and Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co.

The ISTP will be located near the city of Taif, in the Makkah Province of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

China Energy Engineering Corp. and Abengoa Secures Saudi Arabia’s Sudair Solar Plant deal

China based China Energy Engineering Corporation and Spanish engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) service provider, Abengoa shortlisted to build Saudi Arabia’s Sudair solar power plant.

The value of the project is approximately $1000 million.

The Project Location is in Sudair Area, approximately 150km from Riyadh, capital city of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Bahrain’s utility company, Electricity & Water Authority (EWA) awarded the contract to build four (4) 66/11kV Substations, which is part of 220kV & 66kV Transmission development (2012-2016), Phase-2.

The contract has been signed with Saudi based Construction Company, NESMA Telecom & Technology Co. Ltd (NESMA Electric), a subsidiary of NESMA Holding.

Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) awarded following three projects:

  • Construction of 132kV Double Circuit Overhead Transmission line (OHTL) to Farsha 132/33kV Substation
  • Construction of 132kV Double Circuit Overhead Transmission line to Wadi Bin Hashbil 132/33kV Substation
  • Construction of 132kV Double Circuit Overhead Transmission line to Baish West 132/13.8kV Substation

The project location is in Jazan area, Southern Region of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The project has been awarded to Saudi based construction company, National Contracting Company.
