Kalpataru submits the lowest bid of $92.3 million for Dubai’s 132kV OHTL and Cable Project

Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA) announces the bid results for the project “Design, Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of 132kV OHTL & Cable Works Between Hatta PSHPP (HATAPSHP) 132kV Substation and WARSAN  (WRSN) 400/132kV Substation and associated works”.

A total of 11 bidders has submitted the proposals. India based construction company Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd has submitted the lowest optional bid.

Kalpataru submitted the lowest option price of AED 339,090,022.30.

As per the terms of the contract, project will be executed in 30 months in additions 60 days for reliability run of the project.

The Contractor shall perform on Lump sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all associated work and services until final handing over of new cable and OHTL work in a satisfactorily working and operating condition.
