Bahrain awarded Hamad Town Traditional Market Project

Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning (Municipalities Affairs), Bahrain awarded the project “Hamad Town traditional market project”

The project has been awarded to Bahrain based real estate developer, “The Malls Real Estate Development”.
 
The value of signed contract is BHD 3,100,000. 
 
Earlier, during January 2020, a total of three (3) bidders has submitted the proposals. (read more)

Hamad Town Traditional Market Project:

As per the tender notification, the successful contractor shall invest through the terms of the contract and at its own expense for the preparation of maps and engineering drawings and issuance of licenses and permits necessary in the investment of the project to develop a pioneer Traditional Market.

Ministry will be lease the land for a period of 35 years

Municipalities Affairs in return will receive during the contract period an amount of annual benefit for the site of the project.
