NCC awarded 380kV Substation expansion Project in Nariyah

Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) awarded the project  “expansion of Nariyah North 380kV Substation”. The Project location is in Nariyah, eastern region of Saudi Arabia.

The project has been awarded to Saudi based construction Company, National Contracting Company (NCC).

The value of signed contract is SAR 43,900,000 (USD 11,706,666).

Project scope of work involves the major equipment – 380kV Gas Insulated Switchgear expansion, Protection and Control System modifications, Civil, Electric-Mechanical Works at existing Nariyah North 380kV Substation.

The Contractor shall perform on Lump sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all associated work and services until final handing over of substation works in a satisfactorily working and operating condition.

Contractor need to achieve the final acceptance of the work within 23 months from the date of contract signed.
