Oman invite bids for Construction of Ibri Industrial City

Public Establishment for Industrial Estates, Oman invites the bids for Construction of Ibri Industrial City – Phase 1.

The project aims to boost and support the national economy by attracting foreign investments into the Sultanate and localizing the national capital; contributing to stimulating the private sector to achieve sustainable economic and social development; achieving environmental sustainability and contributing to the creation of new job opportunities for the nationals.

The development of the industrial city is expected to be implemented in phases and initially an area of 2.63 million sqm is considered for development (Phase 1), out of a total of 10 million sq.m.

Under Phase 1, Ibri Industrial City is expected to house light and medium activities including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Industrial workshops,
  • Commercial areas,
  • Administrative offices,
  • Warehouses for logistics requirements, and
  • Supporting facilities and residential areas dedicated to workers.

Intrested bidders can purchase bid documents upon the payment of tender fee OMR 3000.

Bidders need to provide bid bond of 1% of the quoted value as part of their proposals.

At present, bid submission date is 04 April 2021.
