Sakani launches new residential development project in Dammam

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Housing has announced the launch of its new residential development project, Naami, in the Dammam region under its Sakani Housing programme.

The project will be spread over a 26,000 sq.m area in the suburb of Al Wajah in Dammam and its being built in partnership with the private sector.

It will consist of 304 residential apartments of various sizes and designs that suit the desires and needs of Saudi families with the prices starting from SR309,000 ($82,249) onwards. These homes are also being available in easy monthly instalments, statement said.

On its strategic location, Sakani said the project was easily accessible from all sides at the western entrance to the city of Dammam on the Riyadh highway.

It extends over an area of ​​more than 9 million sq m, within an integrated environment that takes into account the standards of quality of life and provides all health, educational and commercial services in addition to parks, sports spaces and recreational centers to enhance the quality of life, it added.

Naama among about 30 housing projects under construction by Sakani and provided to its beneficiaries in the eastern region, featuring more than 21,840. The type of housing units comprising apartments, villas, and townhouses distributed between Dammam, Khobar, Qatif and Al Ahsa at an average price of SR600,000, said a company spokesman.
