UAE’s Robt Stone awarded AIG Mirfa Train Interconnection Project

Robt Stone(ME) LLC, UAE announced in a statement that it has awarded a new Contract for EPC of AIG Mirfa Train Interconnection Project.

The Project was awarded by ADNOC Linde Industrial Gases, ELixier.

The project scope consists of Engineering, Procurement and Construction of Large dia pipes (56”, 48” and 36”) and 15 No’s of MOV’s for new interconnection between Train 1 &2.

ELixier – ADNOC LInde Industrial Gases Company Ltd. was founded in Dec 2007. Abu Dhabi National Oil Corporation (ADNOC) owns 51% of the joint venture while Linde owns 49%. The joint venture is responsible for building and operating ASU Plants which includes two of the largest of their kind in the world.

ADNOC industrial Gases (AIG) is one of ADNOC’s industrial gases producing company which supplies nitrogen and liquid oxygen to the UAE’s oil and Gas Sector.
AIG Operated a nitrogen plant at Mirfa which began operating in 2011 with a total capacity of 670,000Nm3/hr of gaseous nitrogen (GAN). Mirfa Plant has two idententical trains, namely Train-1 and Train-2.

This award further enhances ROBT.STONE’s expertise in Oil and Gas sector Projects and associated Critical works including the appointment of a Core Technology Specialist to maintain the plant output, statement said.

Earlier during May 2021, Robt Stone(ME) LLC awarded Package 2 of EPC for Bu Hasa WELLS Tie-Ins Project. The contract value of was $159.1 million (AED 583.9 million) (read more)
