Weatherford submits lowest bid of $91.2m for Drilling & logging Services in Bahrain

Tatweer Petroleum W.L.L, Bahrain received the bidders proposal for the project, Directional Drilling and Logging While Drilling Services.

Three bidders has submitted the proposals. Global Oil and Gas firm, Weatherford has submitted the lowest bid.

Weatherford submitted the price of BHD 34.3 million (USD 91.2 million).

The Contractor’s performance of the Work shall include the supply of equipment, materials and personnel for the provision of Directional Drilling and Logging While Drilling services in support of the Company’s drilling program in the Company’s contract areas in Bahrain.

The Contractor’s performance of the Work shall include the provision of services on a call-out basis for both onshore and offshore wells including Directional Drilling Services, Performance Drilling (downhole motors without directional tools), Measurement While Drilling (MWD), including Gamma Ray, Logging While Drilling (LWD) , including Gamma Ray, Resistivity, Density, Neutron, Sonic, Image, DTBB, at-bit Gamma Ray and other LWD services.

The Bidder shall provide all the mandatory equipment including motors, LWD tools & MWD tools and all the mandatory personnel including Directional Drillers, MWD/LWD Engineers, Directional Drilling Coordinator, Well Planner, Geo-steering Engineer and Real Time Data Center Application Engineer.
