Bahrain received lowest bid of $49.1m for Wireline Services

Tatweer Petroleum W.L.L, Bahrain received the bidders proposal for the Wireline Services in its fields.

A total of four bidders has submitted the proposals. UAE based oil & gas firm, AlMansoori Petroleum Services has submitted the lowest bid.

AlMansoori has submitted the price of BHD 18.4 million (USD 49.1 million).

The Contractor’s performance of the Work shall include the supply of equipment, materials and personnel for the provision of Wireline Services in the Company’s contract areas in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Company reserves the exclusive right to increase, reduce or terminate the level of service required in accordance with the number or rigs deployed and/or the requirements of its drilling campaign in its sole discretion.

Wireline usually refers to the use of multi-conductor, single conductor or slickline cable, or “wireline”, as a conveyance for the acquisition of subsurface petrophysical and geophysical data and the delivery of well construction services such as pipe recovery, perforating, plug setting and well cleaning and fishing. The subsurface geophysical and petrophysical information results in the description and analysis of subsurface geology, reservoir properties and production characteristics.
