PTSC Vietnam awarded Oil and Gas Contract in Qatar

Vietnam based Oil and Gas firm, PTSC Mechanical & Construction (PTSC M&C) announced in a statement that it has signed  an EPCI contract related to Gallaf Batch 3 Project – EPCI05 (Package 5) in Qatar.

The Project was awarded by North Oil Company, a joint-venture between Qatar Petroleum (Qatar) and Total (France).

With the restrictions during the Covid-19 pandemic, the contract signing ceremony was held online with the participation of senior representatives from the parties, statement said.

The Gallaf Batch 3 project is the next development phase of the Al-Shaheen oil field, located offshore Qatar.

Al Shaheen is Qatar’s largest offshore oil field and one of the largest offshore oil fields in the world, which is operated by North Oil Company.

The EPCI05 package is part of the Gallaf Batch 3 Project including 02 wellhead platforms with a total weight up to 19,000 tons.

PTSC M&C is awarded the main EPCIC contract for Package 5c onsist of detailed design, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, load-out, sea-fastening, transportation and installation, hook-up and offshore commissioning.

All onshore works shall be performed at PTSC M&C’s fabrication yard in Vung Tau City, southern of Vietnam.

PTSC M&C is also the main contractor for Gallaf Batch 1, which has successfully delivered 3 wellhead platform topsides to North Oil Company in mid 2020 despite the difficulties and challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic on a global scale since early 2020.
