SEPCO starts Red Sea Utility Project 110kV Substation

SepcoIII,  China announced in a statement that it has started the foundation excavation of the first 110kV Substation of Red Sea Public Utility Assets and Infrastructure Project.

Earlier, during February 2021, SepcoIII awarded the EPC contract for Red Sea utilities Project. The Project was awarded by Developer, ACWA Power. (read more)

The start of foundation excavation marking that the formal project of Power Network Project has entered the substantive construction stage.

The Red Sea Project is the World’s first large Scale commercial utility project that integrates the complementary integration of multiple energy sources.

SEPCOIII further mentioned that it will continue to efficiently complete the subsequent construction and ensure project is handed over to the owner for commercial operation as scheduled.
