CEPCO awarded 230kV Cable Project in Saudi Arabia

Civil & Electrical Projects Contracting Company (CEPCO), Saudi Arabia awarded the project for the 230kV underground cables in Jubail, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Project was award by Advanced Polyolefins Industry company (APOC), Saudi Arabia.

The Project was signed by Eng. Mohammad Al Azam, Vice President – CEPCO and Eng. Mamdouh H. Al-Amri Chief Executive officer -APOC in presence of Eng. Tarek Al Hussaini Chief Operations Officer – CEPCO, Mr. Bader A. Al-Yami, Project Contracts -APOC.

Project scope of works includes Design, Engineering, Supply, Construction, Testing & Commissioning and hand over of Two (2) circuits 230kV underground cables from Jubail-2 Substation -1 to Advanced Global Investment Company (AGIC) new 230KV substations works on the APOC PDH/PP Plant Project.

This project initiated on the basis of APOC & NG agreement for power supply implementation for maximum power demand of 80MVA power.

The project management consultant will be  Flour Arabia Limited. After successful completion of project, it shall handover 230kV Power Transmission Facilities for National Grid.

The project completion for the entire scope of work will be 20 months.
