PACOST awarded $39.2m 132/13.8kV Substation Contracts in Riyadh

Saudi based Construction Company,  PACOST International, a subsidiary of ORA Holding Group has awarded two 132/13.8kV Substation Projects in RIyadh Saudi Arabia.

The Projects was awarded by Saudi Electricity Company (SEC).

Munsiyah 132/13.8kV Substation:

The value of the contract is SAR 87.9 million (USD 23.4 million).

Project involves the construction a new indoor 132/13.8kV Gas Insulated Substation in Munsiyah with the major equipment of 132kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), 50/67 MVA, 132/13.8kV Power Transformers, 13.8 Switchgear, 13.8kV Shunt Capacitor Filter Bank, 500kVA, 13.8kV/400V-230V Station Service Transformers, AC/DC Auxiliary Power Supply, Control/Protection System, Substation Automation System (SAS), Communication System, Fire Detection/Alarm and Safety and Fire Protection System, Civil/Structural works and Mechanical works, Security System.

Qiran 132/13.8kV Substation:

The value of the contract is SAR 59.5 million (USD 15.8 million)

Project involves the construction a new indoor 132/13.8kV Gas Insulated Substation in Qiran with the major equipment of 132kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), 50/67 MVA, 115/13.8kV Power Transformers, 13.8 Switchgear, 13.8kV Shunt Capacitor Filter Bank, 500kVA, 13.8kV/400V-230V Station Service Transformers, AC/DC Auxiliary Power Supply, Control/Protection System, Substation Automation System (SAS), Communication System, Fire Detection/Alarm and Safety and Fire Protection System, Civil/Structural works and Mechanical works, Security System.

The Contractor shall perform on Lump sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all associated work and services until final handing over of new substation works in a satisfactorily working and operating condition.
