ASX EV Solutions Signs a contract with Benzene Petrol Stations to operate EV Charging station

Al Sharif X for Electric Vehicle Chargeing Solutions signed a long-term contract with Benzene Petrol Stations Company Limited, to operate electric vehicles chargerIng stations in its gas stations across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The agreement was signed at the Al Sharif Group Holding offices in Riyadh by the CEO of Al Sharif X. Dr. Ahmed Sindi, and the CEO of Benzene Company Ltd. Turki Al-Abdullatif, in the presence of senior management and officials from both sides.

The partnership comes as an extension of Al Sharif Holding’s commitment to make a contribution to the transfer of the latest clean energy technologies to the Kingdom. AlSharif X is working to operate electric vehicles chargerIng network with a wide spread around the Kingdom, which reduces the “range anxiety” usually associated with electric car drivers, and the spread of charging points encourages city residents to acquire environmentally friendly vehicles, which contributes to reducing harmful carbon emissions; Al Sharif X, with its international standards, will provide fast chargers for electric vehicles at Benzene petrol stations to provide the best experience for its customers through fast charging devices of the type DC & AC; Chargers are exhibited today during the largest exhibition in the Middle East for electric cars, the EV Auto Show, held in Al-Faisaliah, Riyadh, from 1-3 November, alongside global and local leaders.

To that, the CEO of Al Sharif Group Holding, Nawaf bin Fayez Al-Sharif, said: “This cooperation represents a qualitative progress in the field of operating electric vehicle charging points in the Kingdom.” He added: “In the group, we look forward to building diverse relationships that enables us  to localize modern technologies and improve the level of services. We are also keen in Al Sharif X to establishing the infrastructure of the electric vehicles as part of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision, which makes us happy to accelerate the progress of electric vehicles on the territory of the Kingdom by expanding through petrol stations.”

For his part, the CEO of Petrol Company Ltd., A. Turki Al-Abdullatif: “We, in the Benzene Petrol Stations Company, and through our stations, look forward to serving the visitors of the station with all the safe and varied services of serving individuals in public services such as mosques, restaurants, cafes and car service, including fuel, maintenance, oil change, tires, adding the new technology and keeping pace with it today, which is the charging service for electric cars.”

It is worth noting that Al Sharif Group Holding, the parent company of Al Sharif X, which is headquartered in Jeddah, was established in 1980 AD. Al Sharif X for Electric Vehicle Solutions has so far succeeded in signing several cooperations to enhance the infrastructure for charging electric vehicles, including with the Municipality of Al Madinah, Jeddah Boulevard, petrol stations such as Petroly and Benzol Companies, and Theeb car rental. The group is also looking to set an example for local investment in energy projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by introducing innovations and bringing technologies to the Saudi clean energy sector.
