Saudi’s Water Transmission Company invites Bids for Two Pipeline Projects

Water transmission company, Saudi Arbaia announces the launch of tenders for the engineering, procurement and construction works for engineering, procurement and construction contractors (EPC) as part of the development of independent water transmission system projects (PPP), in its capacity as the lead developer of these projects.

In line with the objectives of the National Water Strategy 2030, WTCO, as the lead developer (under PPP model), invites EPC Contractors for the turnkey Engineering, Procurement, and Construction of the following two projects:

 Ras Mohaisen – Baha – Makkah Independent Water Transmission System project:

The Project aims to supply cities of Makkah Al Mukarramah and Al-Baha with desalinated water. The project has a maximum design flow rate of (542,000)m3/day, and a total pipeline length of approximately (325)Km, including four (4) pumping stations. The project includes the development of desalinated water transmission pipeline and water storage facilities connecting the Ras Mohaisen desalinated water production plant to the distribution networks.

Jubail-Buraidah II Independent Water Transmission System project:

The Project aims to supply cities of AL-Qassim region with desalinated water. The project has a maximum design flow rate of (840,000)m3/day, and a total pipeline length of approximately (348)Km, and one main pumping station. As part of the larger Jubail-Buraydah Water Transmission Program, the project includes the development of desalinated water transmission pipeline and water storage facilities connecting the Jubail desalinated water production plant to the distribution networks.
