Ion Exchange Awarded $191.3 million PDO Contract for Water & Sewage Facilities

Ion Exchange (India) Limited has announced that its subsidiary, Ion Exchange and Company LLC, Oman, has been awarded a significant long-term contract by Petroleum Development Oman (PDO).

The agreement covers the Design, Build, Own, Operation, and Maintenance (DBOOM) of a Potable Water Facility and a Sewage Treatment Facility in the South PDO Concession Area.

Valued at OMR 73.46 million, the contract spans a period of twenty years, underscoring PDO’s commitment to sustainable water infrastructure and environmental management in its operations. The project will ensure the reliable supply of potable water and efficient sewage treatment services, supporting operational excellence and community well-being within the concession area.

This award further strengthens Ion Exchange’s footprint in Oman and reinforces its expertise in delivering integrated water and wastewater management solutions across the region. The long-term nature of the contract reflects strong client confidence in the company’s technical capabilities and operational excellence in executing large-scale infrastructure projects.
