Saudi Arabia announces the bid results for Riyadh Airport Substation

Saudi Electricity Company announces the bid results for Construction of Airport 132/13.8kV Substation, 8314 in Riyadh Area.

A total of eighteen (18) bidders submitted their proposal. Among  these bidders, Saudi based Al Toukhi Trading & Contracting Company has submitted the lowest price.  The bid price Submitted by Al Toukhi was SAR 51 million.

Scope of work includes One (1) number 132kV SF6 Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) with Eleven (11) numbers 132kV GIS Circuit Breakers and associated equipment, three (3) nos. 132/13.8kV, 67MVA, Power Transformers, One (1) 13.8kV Switchgear with Seventeen (17) nos.13.8kV Switchgear circuit breaker panels, three (3) nos. 13.8kV, 7 MVAR Capacitor Bank & associated equipment, Protection, Control, Auxiliary Equipment, Cables and Civil Work.

The new substation shall be equipped with Substation Automation System (SAS) and will be remotely controlled from the SEC’s Power Control Center (PCC) through SCADA system, Communication system and gateway.

The Contractor shall perform on Lump sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, material procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, and all associated work and services until final handing over of the project.
