Bahrain Petroleum Company (BAPCO) awarded the project “Resid Hydrocracking Unit (1RHCU) On-Island Catalyst Handling and Logistics Management Services”
The project has been awarded to US based firm “Hoover ferguson”.
The value of the contract is BHD 19,845,000 (1 BHD = 2.65957 USD)
Earlier, during January 2019, BAPCO received the proposals from two companies. Upon technical, commercial evaluations, BAPCO awarded the project.
Project Description:
The shortlisted firm will perform the project activities includes, equip with all handling equipment Repack and store fresh catalyst, Transport fresh catalyst to Refinery Load, fresh catalyst Unload and remove spent catalyst, Repack and store spent catalyst.
Project scope of work also includes, prepare for shipment and disposal Directly coordinate/manage selected catalyst shipping company.
