Oman invites bids for 15MW solar power project

A’Namaa Poultry SAOC (A’Namaa), Oman has invited international developers to bid for solar Power Project in order to supply clean energy for its Ibri project.

A’Namaa is currently investing an estimated value of Omani Riyals (OMR) 100 million in the establishment of a world-scale integrated poultry farm. The project will be constructed on a 58 sq km site at Ibri in Al Dhahirah Governorate.

The successful developer will build a 15 MW solar farm on a build, ow, transfer (BOT) basis with a commitment to offtake the plant’s electricity output for a 20-25-year period.

A’Namaa sets the bid fee as OMR 250. Bidders need to submit a bid security of OMR 50,000 along with their bids.

At present bid submission date is 19-Apr-2020.
