Qiddiya received the bids for utility package

Saudi Arabia’s Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) has received the bidders proposals for the utility package of the Qiddiya entertainment city.

Earlier, Qiddiya sets the bid submission date as 30 June 2020.(read more)

Following two developers submitted the proposals:

The Public-Private Partnership (PPP) package will include power generation (major Solar PV Power Plant) and distribution, Potable water generation & Distribution, Wastewater network & treatment, Irrigation water distribution, District Cooling, Solid Waste Management, Associated administration buildings and Information Communications Technology (ICT) infrastructure.

The 380kV substation will be further connected to Saudi Electricity Company’s grid through 380kV Overhead Transmission line. 

The project is located nearly 45 km southwest of Riyadh City Centre along Makkah road,

The first phase comprising the access roads, the City Centre, Golf Area, Motion and Mobility and the Resort Core along with all their required infrastructure systems and an ultimate which includes all other areas and various plots forming the overall master plan.
