Ministry of Electricity and Water (MEW), Kuwait in association with Kuwait Authority for Partnership Projects (KAPP) announces the accepted bids for “Transaction Advisory Services for the Independent Water and Power Producers, IWPP in Kuwait”.
The following three bidders proposals has been accepted :
- Ernst & Young, UK
- KPMG, Netherland
- Rodl Middle East, Kuwait
Pricewater house coopers, PWC, UK proposal was rejected by KAPP.
Earlier, a total of four bidders has submitted their technical and commercail proposals for the Az-Zour North Phase 2 & 3 (Combined) and AlKhairan Phase 1 Project. (read more)
The Az-Zour North Phase 2 & 3 (Combined) project, is expected to have 2700MW Power Generation capacity and at least 165 MIGD of desalinated water production capacity.
The AlKhairan Phase 1 project is expected to have 1800MW Power Generation capacity and at least 125 MIGD of desalinated water production capacity.
