SEC invites bid for 380/132kV Substation in Rafha

Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) issued tender for the construction of Rafha 380/132kV Substation.

The project location is in Rafha City, Northern region of Saudi Arabia.

Project scope of work includes construction of new indoor 380/132kV Gas Insulated Substation. Major equipment includes, 380kV GIS, Hybrid GIS,  502MVA Power Transformers, 13.8kV Switchgear, Reactors, Protection and Substation Automation System, AC & DC System, Telecommunication System, Civil works and Electro-mechanical works.

Project works also includes the additions in Rafha 132kV Power Plant’s Substation.

The Contractor shall perform on Lump sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all associated work and services until final handing over of substation work in a satisfactorily working and operating condition.

Contractor need to complete the project activities within 29 months from the date of contract award.

At present, bid submission date is 11 October 2020.
