Al Toukhi Submits the lowest bid for 380kV Substation expansion

Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) announces the bid results for the project  “Reinforcement of Wadi Ad Dawaser 380kV Substation”.

Five bidders has submitted the proposals. Saudi based construction firm, Al-Toukhi Company for Industry, trading and Contracting, submitted the lowest bid.

Al-Toukhi submitted the price of SAR 62,900,000 (USD 16,773,333).

Project scope of work involves the 380kV GIS modifications, installation of two (2) 380kV Bus connected Reactors, 380kV Hybrid Gas Insulated Switchgear, 380kV Outdoor equipment,  at the existing Wadi Ad Dawaser BSP in central region of Saudi Arabia.

It includes protection, control, communication and SAS/SCADA systems. The BSP shall be equipped with IEC 61850 standards based technically and economically optimized Substation Automation System (SAS) and will be remotely controlled from the SEC Power Control Center (PCC) through SCADA and Communication.

The Contractor shall perform on Lump sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all associated work and services until final handing over of substation works in a satisfactorily working and operating condition.

Contractor need to achieve the final acceptance of the work within 20 months from the date of contract signed.
