NESMA submits lowest bid of $66.3m for King Salman Park Substation Projects

Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) received bidders proposals for the Construction of four 132/13.8kV Substation Projects for the King Salman Park in Riyadh.

Fifteen bidders has submitted the proposals. Saudi based construction firm, NESMA Telecom & Technology, a subsidiary of NESMA Holding has submitted lowest bid.

NESMA submitted combined price of SAR 248.9 million (USD 66.3 million).

Project scope of work includes 132kV Gas Insulated Switchgear, 67MVA Power Transformers, Medium Voltage switchgear, Capacitor Banks, Protection System, Substation Automation System, Electro-mechanical works, civil works, Cyber Security, Security System.

Covering over 13 square kilometers, King Salman Park will be among the biggest city parks worldwide.

The project will also host many facilities including a royal art complex, a national theater, an opera house, art academies, museums, and galleries. Furthermore, the park will feature extensive green areas, plazas, sports compounds, and an 18-hole royal golf course.
