RAY secures $13.4 million contract for Electrical Works in Bahrain

Tatweer Petroleum W.L.L, Bahrain awarded the project for the extension of Electrical Distribution network.

The Project has been awared to Oman based construction firm, Rukun Al Yaqeen (RAY) International WLL.

The value of awarded contract is BHD 5,068,746.713 (USD 13,480,709).

Earlier, during July 2020, Tatweer received the bidders proposals for the project. (read more)

As per the scope of work, the contractor will be requested to extend & connect the Low Voltage cables up to the facility which involves excavation, cable laying, glanding and cable termination electrical activities.

Contractor also be required to install RMU’s, transformers, & switchgears, for various facilities including their earthing, cabling, glanding & termination works.

The Over Head Line will involve installation of overhead All Dielectric Self Supporting Fibre Optic Cable along with 11 & 33 kV over head Transmission line.

Another Contract:

Rukun Al Yaqeen (RAY) International WLL also secured another contract from Tatweer for the Maintenance and Installation of Beam Pump Units.

The value of contract is BHD 1,184,870 (USD 3,151,250).

Project works includes the provision of Maintenance (Preventive, Breakdown, Corrective) of Beam Pumping Units in the Tatweer’s areas in Kingdom of Bahrain, as per the requirement of Field Maintenance department and Optimization & Diagnostic Service for Beam Pumping Units, as per the requirements of Production Engineering and Field Operations departments.
