Bahrain received Feasibility Study Bids for Northern Link Road

Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning (MOWMUP), Bahrain received Bidders proposals for the feaibility Study for Bahrain Northern Link Road.

As per the tender notification, Government of Bahrain intends to implement Bahrain Northern Link Road through Public Private Partnership to accelerate investments in the north-shore region.

As first step, MOWMUP intends to appoint an internationally renowned consultant with significant experience in similar works for conducting comprehensive technical feasibility studies.

Following five bidders has submitted the proposals.

  • Egis International BHD 1.78 million
  • SYSTRA Group – BHD 3.39 million
  • Consolidated Engineering Company Khatib & Alami – BHD 1.52 million
  • AECOM – BHD 2.31 million
  • Dar Al-Handasah Consultants – BHD 1.59 million.

The project will provide transport corridors along the northern coast of Bahrain, which will enhance the link between strategic projects and new housing projects.

The Northern Link Road will reach a length of 22.5 km long with four lanes being developed.
