TDP company awarded $21.6million 132kV OHTL and Cable project

Saudi based construction company, Trading Development Partnership (TDP) awarded EPC contract for the “Construction of 132kV Overhead Transmission line (OHTL) for interconnection of Uraidh (8374) Substation”. The project location is in Riyadh.

The value of signed contract is SAR 81.1 million.

The project awarded by Saudi Electricity Company.

Earlier, during February 2021, SEC received bidders proposals.

The project involves the design and construction of two (2) 132kV OHTL to connect the Uraidh (8374) Substation with the grid.

Approximate route length of total OHTL is 11.4km.

Project scope of work also includes 22km of 132kV Cable and associated outdoor equipment.

The new OHTL will be installed on latticed steel tower in vertical configuration using ACSR/AW Condor Conductor.

The Contractor shall perform on Lump sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all associated work and services until final handing over of new OHTL work in a satisfactorily working and operating condition.

Contract completion period is 25 months.
