TDP Company submits lowest bid of $129.4m for 380kV Cable project

Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) received bidders proposals for Installation of 380kV Underground cable associated with Substation 9098.

Four bidders has submitted the proposals. Saudi based construction firm, Trading Development Partnership (TDP) has submitted the lowest bid.

TDP submitted the price of SAR 485.5million (USD129.4 million).

The Scope of work includes complete design, supply and installation of two(2) 380kV cable circuits consisting of 2500 Sq.mm copper conductor, super clean-XLPE cables circuits with all required joining terminations, accessories and cable tunnel with associated civil works.

Approximate length of 380kV underground cable is 47km.

The Contractor shall perform on Lump sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all associated work and services until final handing over of new cable work in a satisfactorily working and operating condition.

Contractors needs to achieve the final acceptance of the works by 29 months from Contract Signing Date.
