79 firms submits interest for Saudi Arabia’s Ports on PPP model

Saudi Ports Authority (MAWANI) in partnership with the National Center for Privatization & PPP (NCP) announced in a statement, firms has submitted the response to EOI for the eight (8) new multi-purpose terminal concessions across Saudi Arabia.

Earlier, during July 2021, MAWANI invited to submit an expression of interest (EOI) in respect of the potential award of Concessions (read more)

The terminals collectively referred to as “Mawani Priority Concessions” at eight (8) commercial and industrial ports will be developed in partnership with the private sector, an initiative of the Privatization Program that emanates from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

The following Priority Concessions that are to be procured as part of this process:

  • Multi-purpose terminal at King Abdul Aziz Port Dammam
  • Multi-purpose terminal at Jeddah Islamic Port
  • Multi-purpose terminal at Jazan Port
  • Multi-purpose terminal at Jubail Commercial Port
  • Multi-purpose terminal at King Fahd Industrial Port Jubail
  • Multi-purpose terminal at Ras Al Khair Port
  • Multi-purpose terminal at Yanbu Commercial Port
  • Multi-purpose terminal at King Fahd Industrial Port Yanbu
