BGP Inc., a subsidiary of China National Petroleum Company (CNPC), announced in a statement that it has awarded a contract related to onshore 3D seismic survey in Kuwait.
The Project was awarded by Kuwait Oil Company (KOC).
The value of the contract is KWD 41million (USD 136.7 million).
The Project scope of works includes 3D seismic survey for for West Kuwait and Mutriba. The Project duration is 1826 days.
The project will use the world’s leading high-density digital single-channel acquisition technology operation, the company’s G3iHD seismograph, SL11 digital geophone, and INOVA controllable. In addition to advanced equipment and technologies such as seismic source, GeoEast processing software system, and KLSeis II seismic acquisition engineering software system, it also plans to apply the company’s self-developed eSeis node instrument, uDAS distributed optical fiber sensor and other industry-leading technologies, statement said.
