91 firms submit EOI for Medical Cities Project in Saudi Arabia

The Ministry of Health (MoH), Saudi Arabia in cooperation with the National Center for Privatization & PPP (NCP), announced the receipt of the Expression of Interest (EOI) for King Faisal Medical City (KFMC) in Abha, and Prince Mohammad bin Abdul Aziz Medical City (PMMC) in Sakaka.

The project is being tendered under a public-private-partnership (PPP) model of Design, Build, Finance, Operate with no clinical operations, Maintain and Transfer.

The EOI Statement mentioned that, King Faisal Medical City (KFMC) will have a bed capacity of 1,024, and Prince Mohammad bin Abdul Aziz Medical City (PMMC) in Sakaka will have a bed capacity of 442 beds.

The MoH is tendering the project under a (PPP) model, where the private sector would be responsible for completing the construction of the medical cities with an innovative design to provide health services according to modern healthcare models.
