Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW) has awarded a contract for the supply, installation, execution, and maintenance of three 132 kV main substations as part of its Housing Project in Kuwait.
The contract covers the development of main substations MS-05, MS-06, and MS-07, which will play a key role in supporting the power infrastructure requirements of the housing development and ensuring reliable electricity supply for the project.
The project has been awarded to Al-Ahleia Switchgear Co. K.S.C.C., a leading provider of electrical and power solutions in Kuwait. The total contract value stands at approximately KWD 10.49 million.
The award reflects PAHW’s continued efforts to strengthen infrastructure development across Kuwait’s residential sector and support the delivery of integrated and sustainable housing communities equipped with modern utility networks.
The substations are expected to contribute significantly to the stability and efficiency of the electrical network serving the Affordable Housing Project, aligning with Kuwait’s broader urban development and housing expansion plans.
