Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) signed the contract for “Construction of 115kV Double Circuit transmission line from Nariyyah North 380/115/33kV BSP to As Sarrar‐2 115/33/13.8kv Substation”.
The project has been awarded to Saudi based company, Al Sherif Group for Contracting Company
The value the contract is SAR 64 million. The project location is in Nariyyah area, eastern region of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Earlier, during January 2019, SEC received the proposal from various contractors.
Project Description:
Project Scope of work includes construction of 115kV double circuit transmission line of length 86km using latticed steel structures.
Scope of work also includes construction of 115kV single circuit transmission line of length 6.2km over wooden poles. Dismantling of existing transmission line of 56km is part of this project.
The contractor shall perform the project on lumpsum turnkey basis, includes the design, engineering, material procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, and all associated work and services until final handing over of the project.
Project Completion period is 26 months.
