Projects awarded during the February 2020 in Gulf Countries

Following are the major projects awarded during the month of February 2020 across gulf countries:

Mastoura secures a contract of SAR 9 milllion for Aflaj 132kV Transmission line project

Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) awarded the project “Construction of a Double Circuit 132kV Overhead Transmission Line for New Al-Aflaj Substation 8766” in Al-Kharaj Area”.

The project has been awarded to Saudi based construction company, Mastoura for Trading & Contracting Co. Ltd., (Mastoura). (read more)

UAE awarded the PMC contract of Ghasha Ultra-sour Gas Project

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) awarded the Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services contract related to Ghasha Ultra-sour Gas Project.

The project has been awarded to US based Oil & Gas firm, KBR.

The Ghasha gas project is located on the north-western shore of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE).(read more)

Al Ojami Secures $15.4 million deal for Makkah’s Mansouriyah Substation

Saudi  Electricity Company (SEC) awarded the project “Construction of New Mansouriyah 110/13.8kV Substation”.

The project has been awarded to Saudi based Construction Company, Mohammed Al Ojaimi Establishment (Al Ojaimi).(read more)

L&T Secures an order of $56 million for Rabigh Solar PV 380/110kV Substation

Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) awarded the project “Construction of 380/110kV Rabigh PV Solar Substation”.

The project has been awarded to Indian based construction company, Larsen & Toubro (L&T)

Haif Company secures an order of $11.1 million for Abu Arish-2 132/13.8 kV Substation

Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) awarded the project “Construction of Abu Arish-2 132/13.8 kV Substation”.

The project has been awarded to Saudi based construction company, Haif Bin Mohammed Bin Abboud Al-Qahtani (Haif).

SEPCO secures an order of $54 million for Saudi Arabia’s Layla 380/132kV Substation

Saudi Electricity Company awarded the project “Construction of Layla (9049) 380/132kV Substation and Installation of One (1) 380kV, 60MVAR Line Reactor at 9028 BSP”.

The project has been awarded to Chinese Construction Company, SEPCO III Electric Power Construction.

Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) awarded the project “Construction of New 132kV Double Circuit Transmission line between Substation 8919 and  8922”.

Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) awarded the project  to build perimeter fencing of the construction site.

Marubeni awarded UAE’s Fujairah F3 Independent Power Project (IPP)

UAE’s Emirates Water & Electricity Company (EWEC) has awarded the project Fujairah F3 Independent Power Project (IPP).

ADNOC awards an order of US$1.65 billion for the Dalma Gas Development Project

The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) awarded two contracts for the construction of offshore facilities related to Dalma Gas Development Project.

BESIX secures a contract to build Dubai’s bridges and tunnel

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) awarded the project to build two flyover bridges, a one-lane ramp and a two-lane tunnel in the Shindagha district near Port Rashid.

Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) awarded the project “Construction of (1) 380kV Double Circuit (D/C) Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) between New Marjan BSP to Safaniyah BSP and Tanajib Cogeneration”.

Samsung C&T secures $951 million EPC Contract for UAE’s Fujairah F3 IPP

South Korea’s Samsung C&T announced in a statement that it had secured a contract for the EPC services related Fujairah F3 IPP (Independent Power Project).

The project was awarded by Japan’s Marubeni Corporation, developer of the project. (read more)

Ministry of Transport , Oman awarded the projects for Construction of road works related to Rusayl-Bidbid carriageway and Batinah Expressway.

Electricity and Water Authority (EWA), Bahrain awarded the project “Preliminary Assessment of the Suitability of a Nuclear Program in The Kingdom of Bahrain”

UAE based Modon Properties has awarded three major infrastructure contracts for the development of Phases Two and Five of Abu Dhabi based residential development Riyadh City South.

Saudi Water Partnership Company (SWPC), formerly known as Water & Electricity Company (WEC) signed the project agreement for Yanbu 4 IWP (Independent Water Producer) project.

His Excellency the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, & Chairman of the Board Directors of Saudi Water Partnership Company Eng. Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen AlFadley, signed the Project agreements with the consortium comprising of France’s Engie and Saudi Arabia’s Mowah Company. (read more)

Saudi Arabia awarded Taif ISTP to the consortium

Saudi Water Partnership Company (SWPC), formerly known as Water & Electricity Company (WEC) signed an agreement to build the Taif Independent Sewage Treatment Plant, ISTP.

His Excellency the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, & Chairman of the Board Directors of Saudi Water Partnership Company Eng. Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen AlFadley, signed the Project agreements with the consortium comprising of  Cobra Instalaciones y Servicios, S.A. (Cobra) and International Water Distribution Co. Ltd.
