Abu Dhabi’s Imkan awards $64.2 million contract for AlJurf development

Abu Dhabi based developer Imkan stated in a statement that, it has awarded the development of Phase One of the masterplanned development at AlJurf, a coastal destination along the UAE’s Sahel Al Emarat.

The value of awarded conract is AED 236 million.

The project has been awarded to UAE based construction firm,  Al Dhabi Contracting LLC.

Al Dhabi Contracting will construct 146 residential along with two show villas on a 57,851 Sq.m area at AlJurf Gardens, a prime development coming up within Phase One of the project which is due for completion in 2022.

Alongside unique residential communities, Phase One of Al Jurf will also include a private beach and marina, as well as a community centre all situated amid abundant and verdant open spaces

“Our second home destination, AlJurf, is a special project for us, as we have undertaken a guardianship role to preserve the incredible nature found at the site. The development will provide an unparalleled and authentic cultural and living experience, while paying homage to the UAE’s rich heritage,” said Imkan’s CEO Walid El Hindi.

Al Dhabi Contracting’s General Manager Samy Edward expressed delight at winning the Imkan contract to build the first phase of AlJurf Gardens.

“Al Dhabi will be using its experience in harmonising projects with their natural environments to ensure that residents of AlJurf Gardens enjoy the very best facilities constructed to the highest international standards, all set in a pristine and untainted ecosystem,” he added.
