ONEIC Oman secures $6 million substation project

Royal Oman Police awarded the project for construction of 2 x 20MVA Substation with associated feeders.

The project has been awarded to Oman based construction firm, Oman National Engineering & Investment Company SAOG (ONEIC).

The value of signed contract is OMR 2,332,679. (USD 6 million)

As part of the scope of works, the contractor will construct substation on Engineering, Procurement and construction basis.

Project scope of work includes 2x20MVA Power Transformers and associated 33kV and 11kV feeders at Thumrait.

The Contractor shall perform on Lump sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all associated work and services until final handing over of substation works in a satisfactorily working and operating condition.

The project completion period is 365 days from the date of award.
