Projects awarded during June 2020 in Gulf Countries

Following are the major projects awarded during the month of June 2020 across gulf countries:

NCC secures $60.8 million contract for 380kV Aseelh Substation

Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) awarded the project “Construction of New Al Aseelh 380kV Substation”. The project has been awarded to Saudi based construction Company, National Contracting Company (NCC). The value of signed contract is SAR 228 million. (read more)

JAL International secures $13.8 million order for substation expansion

Saudi Electricity Company awarded the project “Reinforcement of Muhayil north 132/33kV and Oukdud 132/13.8kV Substation”. The project has been awarded to Saudi based construction company, JAL International. The value of signed contract is SAR 52 million. (read more)

Abu Dhabi’s JIIC awards $54.5 million infrastructure works contract

UAE’s Jubail Island Investment Company, JIIC has awarded a contract for the infrastructure works of Jubail Island The project has been awarded to UAE based construction company, Gulf Contractors Company(GCC). The value of the signed contract is approximately AED 200 million. (read more)

Parsons and Binyah secured contracts for AMAALA Triple Bay construction

Saudi Arabia’s AMAALA awarded the projects related to one of its development, Triple bay, an ultra-luxury destination located along northwestern coast of Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabian Parsons Limited (Parsons) secured the construction supervision contract and the Saudi Real eastate Infrastructure Company Binyah, awarded the contract related to excavation, backfilling, and earthworks required to achieve the formation levels and grading of Phase I of the Triple Bay masterplan.(read more)

Bahrain’s Tatweer Petrolem W.L.L awarded the project “Engineering, Procurement, Construction and comissioing of Pre-Unayzah Gas Well Hook-Ups, Associated Pipelines and Tie-ins at Gas Dehydration Units” (read more)

Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) awarded the project “Integration of Madinah Solar PV Power Plant, OHTL Portion”. The project has been awarded to Saudi based construction Company,  AL-SALEH & MASSOUD CO. FOR TRADING & CONTRACTING (ASAMCO). (read more)

Oman Signed a contract of $104 million for Daba Fishing Jetty

The Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Oman signed an agreement for a project to develop Daba fishing jetty in the Governorate of Musandam. The project has been awarded to Oman based Construction Company,  Al Sarouj Constructions Company.(read more)

Oman awarded $654 million Adam-Thumrait dualisation road project

Oman’s Ministry of Transport and Communications awarded project” Construction of  three sections of the Adam-Thumrait dualisation road – Part 3, 4 & 5”. The total value of signed contract is OMR 251,479,642.(1 OMR = 2.60078 USD) (read more)
