Saudi Aramco awards 10 years contract to Shelf Drilling

Global offshore drilling contractor, Shelf Drilling announced in a statement that it has secured a ten-year contract extension for the High Island IX jack-up rig.

The contract for the 1983-built, 2012-upgraded jack-up drilling unit is in direct continuation of its current contract in Saudi Arabia.

Weatherford awarded $20.9million contracts in Bahrain

Global Oil and Gas firm, Weatherford awarded four contracts by Tatweer Petroleum, Bahrain. The combined value of the contracts is BHD 7.8 million (USD 20.9 million)

NESMA awarded Jeddah LED Lighting Project

Nesma Telecom & Technology, a subsidiary of NESMA Holding announced in a statement that it has been awarded Installation of LED Lighting project in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The Project awarded by National Energy Services Company, Tarshid, Saudi Arabia.

Parsons awarded $114million contract in Qatar

Parsons Corporation, USA announced in a statement that the company was selected by the Qatar Public Works Authority (PWA) to provide site supervision services for projects in the western area of Qatar as well as Doha City.

The value of signed contract is  $114 million,

ADNOC awards $15.1m Zirku Runway Strip Integrity Project

The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) awarded the project for construction of Zirku Runway Strip Integrity Project in Zirku Island.

The project has been awarded to UAE based construction firm, Al Geemi and Partners Contracting Company LLC. The value of singed contract is AED 55.5 million (USD 15.1 million).

Dubai to build first phase of largest solar-powered Data centre

Moro Hub (Data Hub Integrated Solutions LLC), a subsidiary of Digital DEWA, the digital arm of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), announced in a statement that it has signed an agreement with Huawei to build the largest solar-powered Uptime TIER III-Certified Data Centre in the Middle East and Africa at the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park.

Contractors appointed for 380kV Substation and OHTL of Yanbu 4 IWP

The main EPC, Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction awards the Construction of 380kV Substation and 380kV Overhead Transmission line related to Yanbu 4 IWP (Independent Water Producer) project.

Construction of 380kV Substation has been awarded to General Electric (GE) whereas the 380kV Overhead Transmission line (OHTL) has been awarded to National Power Construction Corporation (NPCC).

Saipem awarded new contract extensions in Saudi Arabia

Italy’s Saipem announced in a statement that it has been awarded the extension of two important contracts for onshore drilling activities in Saudi Arabia.

The company stated that the duration of contracts is 5 years and 10 years respectively.

Egis, SSH JV awarded supervision services contract in Kuwait

France’s Egis, in Joint Venture (JV) with SSH International, Kuwait announced in a statement that it has signed a new contract with the Ministry of Public Works of Kuwait.

ASGC, UAE announced in a statement that it has awarded a new project Creek Edge, located at the waterfront of Dubai Creek Harbour. The Project was awarded by Emaar, UAE.

Veolia Mirrikh QTCG JV awarded drainage assets O&M contract in Qatar

Mirrikh Contracting WLL, Qatar announced in a statement that it has signed a contract With Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’, Qatar Drainage Catchment Zone Framework Contract to carry out drainage assets’ operation and maintenance works.

The Project was signed in Joint Venture of Veolia and Qatar Trading & Contracting Group (QTCG).

Alkhorayef awarded $30.7m North Jeddah Storm Water Contract

Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co., Saudi Arabia announced in a statement that it has awarded a New Operation and Maintenance Contract from Jeddah Municipality.

The value of signed contract is SAR 115.3 million (USD 30.7 million).

China Petroleum and Robt Stone awarded $318m Smart Wells contracts from ADNOC

The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) announced in a statement that it has awarded contracts to connect newly drilled smart wells to the main production facilities at Bu Hasa, which will sustain production capacity of 650,000 barrels per day (bpd) at ADNOC’s largest onshore asset.

The value of the contract is up to $318 million (AED1.16 billion).

Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) announced in a statement that it has awarded a contract by the Ministry of Defence (MOD) and UAE Navy for the Offshore Patrol Vessels (OPVs).

The value of the signed contract is AED3.5 billion (USD 953 million).

The Project has been awarded to Smart Union & Contracting Company. The combined value of signed contract is SAR 11,304,890.

Arada awards $49m contract to build The Boulevard at Sharjah

UAE’s developer Arada announced in a statement that it has awarded the construction contract to build The Boulevard, an upscale residential complex at its Sharjah mega-community Aljada.

The Project is located in the edge of the ultra-contemporary East Village district of Aljada. The Project has been awarded to Dubai based Al Ashram Contracting LLC. (read more)

Electricity and Water Authority (EWA), Bahrain awarded the project, “Dynamic Reactive Power Compensation Project”.

The project has been awarded to ABB Technologies WLL, Bahrain. The value of the contract is BHD 35,406,228. (USD 94,165,500).

Bahrain awarded $288.4million Remote Gas Dehydration Units Project

Tatweer Petroleum W.L.L, Bahrain awarded the project “Engineering, Procurement and Construction of Remote Gas Dehydration Units”.

The Project has been awarded to Global oil & Gas firm, TDE Overseas Ltd. The value of signed contract is BHD 108,469,845 (USD 288.4 million).

Schlumberger awarded $66.7m cementing services contract in Bahrain

Tatweer Petroleum W.L.L, Bahrain awarded the project for Cementing and Remedial Cementing Stimulation Services.

The Project has been awarded to US based oil and gas firm, Schlumberger. The value of the contract is BHD 25,079,237 (USD 66.7million).

HEISCO Kuwait secured $185.2m South Kuwait Remediation project

Heavy Engineering Industries and Shipbuilding Company (HEISCO), Kuwait announced in a statement that it has secured Zone 2 of South Kuwait Excavation Transportation and Remediation Project.

The Project was awarded by Kuwait Oil Company (KOC). The value of the contract is KWD 55,617,709 (USD 185.2 million).

Sinopec awarded Saudi Aramco’s Berry oil and gas processing project

Sinopec, China announced in a statement that it has awarded a contract related to Saudi Arabia’s Berry oil and gas processing project.

The Contract was awarded by main EPC, SAIPEM, Italy and the end user of the project is Saudi Aramco.

KCPC Kuwait secured $188m North Kuwait Remediation project

The Kuwait Company for Process Plant Construction & Contracting K.P.S.C. (KCPC) announced in a statement that it has secured Zone 2 of “North Kuwait Excavation Transportation and Remediation” project.

The Project was awarded by Kuwait Oil Company (KOC). The value of the contract is KWD 56.8 million (USD 188 million).

UAE’s ADNOC awards $744m Belbazem Offshore Block contract to NPCC

The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) announced in a statement that its subsidiary has awarded the contract for the full field development of the Belbazem Offshore Block.

Al Yasat Petroleum Operations Company Ltd (Al Yasat), ADNOC’s subsidiary and joint venture (JV) with China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), awarded the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract to the National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC).

Spain’s SAVENER awarded design contract of Barka V IWP in Oman

Spain’s engineering firm, SAVENER announced in a statement that it has been awarded a contract to undertake the engineering design of a new desalination plant, Barka V located in South Al Batinah Governorate.

The Contract was awarded by the developer, partnership of GS Inima of Spain and Italian Fisia Italimpianti of Italy.

Doosan secured orders for 75 excavators from Saudi Arabia

South Korea’s construction equipment maker Doosan Infracore Co. announced in a statement that it has signed a deal to provide 75 excavators to Construction companies in Saudi Arabia.

The deal consists of 70 22-ton excavators and five 50-ton excavators, the company mentioned in a statement. But it did not reveal the value of the deal.

Applus+ awarded Road Engineering Services contract in Saudi Arabia

Applus+ announced in a statement that it has been awarded a new contract to provide engineering consultancy services for sustainable roads and transport management in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Project will provide a comprehensive study to assess the current road and transportation network in the country.

The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) announced in a statement that it has awarded contracts to maximize drilling performance across its Onshore operations.

The Combined value of the contracts is AED 606 million (USD 165 million).

Arada awards Masaar development contracts to Parsons and ASGC

UAE developer, Arada announced in a statement that it has awarded the first two contracts for Masaar, the 19 million square foot mega community based in the Suyoh district of Sharjah.

The AED8bn project was launched in January this year featuring 4,000 villa and townhouses set in eight gated communities, all located in a forested and nature-filled master plan

UAE’s developer, Majid Al Futtaim, announced in a statement that it has awarded a contract to global infrastructure consulting firm AECOM to provide lead consultancy services for its flagship Mall of Saudi development.

NCC awarded $96.2m 132/11kV substations contract in Kuwait

Public Authority of Housing Welfare (PAHW), Kuwait awarded the project for the construction of 12 numbers of 132/11kV Substations.

The Project has been awarded to Saudi based construction firm, National Contracting Company (NCC). The value of signed contract is KWD 28.9 million (USD 96.2 million).
