Oman signs Hydrocarbons exploration deal for Block 36

Oman’s Ministry of Energy and Minerals announced in a statement that, an Exploration and Production Sharing Agreement (EPSA) has been signed to explore for hydrocarbons in Block 36 in the southwest of the Sultanate of Oman. (read more)

Bahrain awarded $62.2 million Future Generation Reserve Tower Project

Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning (Works Affairs), Bahrain awarded the roject for Future Generation Reserve Project – Construction of Multi-storey Tower Building

UAE’s Arada awards $27.7million contract to implement Phase 2 of Aljada project

UAE’s developer, Arada announced in a statement, the latest in a series of construction contracts at Aljada, the AED24 billion mixed-use community in the heart of New Sharjah.

The developer awarded contract to build Phase 2 infrastructure works to support a number of different communities within Aljada. (read more)

Bin Omairah secures $12.2 million 132/13.8kV Substation contract

Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) awarded the project “Construction of Howtah  Bani Tameem 132/13.8kV Substation (8720)”. The Project locations will be in Al Kharj area, Central region of Saudi Arabia.

The Project has been awarded to Saudi based Construction firm, Bin Omairah Company for Contracting. (read more)

Damac awarded $49.2 million Business Bay tower construction contract

UAE’s developer, DAMAC Properties announced in a statement that, it has awarded a contract for the construction of Zada, a 26-storey tower located in the Business Bay neighbourhood.

The project has been awarded to local construction firm, Trans Emirates Contracting, LLC. (read more)

BESIX and Jan De Nul Secured $101 million Fujairah Port expansion contract

BESIX and Jan De Nul Group announced in a statement the awarding of the project expansion of the port of Fujairah in Dibba, the second largest city of the emirate of Fujairah in the UAE, located along the Gulf of Oman.

The works for the Dibba Bulk Handling Terminal Project were awarded to the consortium of Six Construct, BESIX’s entity in the Middle East, and Jan De Nul Group. (read more)

KCA Deutag secures $150m of land drilling contracts in Oman

UK’s drilling, engineering and technology provider, KCA Deutag (KCAD), announced in a statement that it has secured contracts in Oman, from the country’s leading exploration and production companies.

The value of signed contract is $150 million. (read more)

Penspen secures engineering contract relates to Adnoc facilities

Global Engineering firm, Penspen announced in a statement that it has secured a detailed engineering contract for crude receiving facilities at Jebel Dhana in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The Project was awarded by Target Engineering Construction Company, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor of the project. (read more)

Saudi Arabia’s Amaala awards design, build contract for Triple Bay Village

Saudi Arabia’s Amaala, the ultra-luxury destination located along north western coast, has awarded a design and build contract for the construction of the first stage of the Triple Bay Village.

The Project has been awarded to Saudi based construction firm, Tamimi Global Company (Tafga).(read more)

Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) awarded the project “Construction of 132kV Overhead Transmission line (OHTL) for Howtah Bani Tamim  Substation 8720 ” in Kharj region.

NPCC secured a contract of $50.7 million for Aseelh Shuqaiq 380kV OHTL

Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) awarded the project “Construction of 380kV OHTL between Al Aseelh (ASL) 380/132/13.8kV BSP and Shuqaiq Substation”. The location of the project is in Jazan, Southern region of Saudi Arabia.

The Project has been awarded to Pakistan based construction company,  National Power Construction Corporation (NPCC). (read more)

Siemens secured $18.2million contract for 400kV Substation expansion in Bahrain

Electricity and Water Authority, EWA Bahrain awarded the project Um AlHassam 400kV Grid Substation expansion.

The Project has been awarded to Germany firm, Siemens. The value of signed contract is BHD 6,844,666 (read more)

Woodserv secures $103.9 mllion Non-Associated Gas Compression Facilities (NCF) project

Tatweer Petroleum W.L.L, Bahrain awarded the projects “Provision of Non-Associated Gas Compression Facilities (NCF)”.

The Project has been awarded to Bahrain based Oil & Gas firm, Woodlands Energy Services Company (WoodServ). (read more)

Galfar secures $155 million Oil & Gas contracts from ADNOC

The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) Onshore, a subsidiary of ADNOC, awarded the following two contracts:

  • Procurement and construction (PC) of flowlines and wellhead installations across two onshore oil fields in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
  • Engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of a new bypass system to provide critical backup for the existing crude receiving stations at the Jebel Dhanna and Fujairah export terminals. (read more)

Robt Stone secures $168 million Oil & Gas contract from ADNOC

The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) Onshore, a subsidiary of ADNOC, awarded the contract related to Procurement and construction (PC) of flowlines and wellhead installations across Bab onshore oil fields in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. (read more)

Oman awarded $476 million contracts for the substations and OHTL Projects

Oman Electricity Transmission Company (OETC), member of Nama Group announced in a statement the signing of a number of agreements for the implementation of the first phase of “Rabt” project which includes the substations and Overhead Transmission lines (OHTL).

Global engineering firm, Atkins, a member of the SNC-Lavalin Group announced in a statement that, it has been awarded the lead design consultant services contract from Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) for the Six Flags Qiddiya theme park project located within Qiddiya.(read more)

L&T awarded $21.4 million 132kV OHTL, cable projects

Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) awarded the following 132kV Over Head Transmission Line (OHTL), cable projects in northern region of Saudi Arabia.

  • Construction of 132kV Overhead Transmission line (OHTL) between East Qurayyat Substation and Qurayyat BSP
  • Connection of Sakaka-D Substation with 132kV network.

The Project has been awarded to India based construction fir, Larsen & Toubro (L&T). (read more)
